Presented by Spertus Institute and JPro Chicago, Connect & Learn is an online, community-building, professional development series.

Connect & Learn workshops offer participants around the world a chance to join Spertus students and alumni for lively sessions on topics key to Jewish professional life today.

Build skills you can apply immediately to your life and work. Become part of a network of learners and Jewish community leaders.

Sessions are online, live, interactive, and collaborative.

Each session includes time to connect, network, meet new colleagues, and strengthen relationships. Programs take place via Zoom. Ticket holders will receive login instructions by email 24 hours in advance.

Connect & Learn presenter Mordy Walfish

Spertus faculty member and Leading Edge COO Mordy Walfish leads this session.

Mordy Walfish is Chief Operating Officer of Leading Edge, an organization dedicated to strengthening how Jewish organizations attract, develop, and retain top talent. Prior to joining Leading Edge, Walfish was Vice President for Programs at Repair the World. He is a Wexner Graduate Fellow, Schusterman Fellow, and a winner of the JPro Young Professional Award.

For five years, he served as board chair of JQY, a nonprofit organization supporting and empowering LGBTQ youth in the Jewish community. He is a credentialed leadership coach through the International Coaching Federation. He serves on the faculty of Spertus Institute and New Ventures West.
